Wolverhampton is a city situated in the Heart of England on the border of the so called
Black Country and beautiful counties of Shropshire and Staffordshire. It is 27 kilometres from England's second biggest city, Birmingham. You can get to Birmingham in only 25 minutes and to London in 2 hours by train.

Wolverhampton is a multicultural city so you can find there whatever you want. It is full of life, not only in the daytime but also at night. The city offers plenty of varied entertainment such as cinemas , theatres, concerts, museums, galleries, pubs, restaurants, malls and leisure centres.

The University of Wolverhampton, a large state university, has two campuses in the city of Wolverhampton. Our City Campus is right in the heart of the city and our Compton Campus is situated in a peaceful and rural corner. Our Walsall Campus is located half-way between Wolverhampton and Birmingham and our Telford Campus is 30 minutes west of Wolverhampton. The University is a modern, flexible and vocationally-orientated institution and is also one of the most student-friendly universities.

In the academic year 2005/2006 - 50 students from Bydgoszcz and Toruñ took up studies in Wolverhampton. In the years 2006/2007 and 2007/2008 - 300 people from all over Poland have gone to study in Wolverhampton.
