Ilona Dalecka from Poland, BA (Hons) Business and International Hospitality Management

I have met a lot people from all over the world and made some new friendships. Moreover I find the university very effective and I can see the progress that I have made here. Lectures are extremely friendly and encouraging. There is an excellent atmosphere at the University of Wolverhampton and even though I am far away from home I do not feel lonely.

Why England? There are plenty of reasons to go and study there. First of all, it gives you plenty of opportunities to develop yourself and broaden your mind. The university provides a wide range of sport and language facilities so that apart from studying your own particular subject you can also explore different fields and do what you are really interested in. Moreover, you will know people from all parts of the world; learn their customs and attitude as well. All together, it makes such a decision worth further consideration, therefore, do not hesitate and find out by yourself. You will not regret it!

Event & Venue Management is a course that prepares you to work in the leisure industry. Lectures are enriched with practical exercises, they often take place outside classrooms. I decided to study in England because of the wide range of courses that are available. Moreover, the English market is opened for young ambitious people. Lecturers are forgiving, helpful and are glad to give any advice. The miscellaneous range of learning facilities makes learning interesting and easy. It is an ideal course for everyone who has a little bit of self-confidence and is prepared for challenges.

Albina Szeles from Poland, Second Year student: BA (Hons) International Hospitality Management
Hi, I am a student of International Hospitality Management. Why did I choose this course and university? Because I am fascinated about traveling and meeting people from other countries and cultures. I chose these studies because of the possibility to learn the English language perfectly and because of my course. It took me a long time to choose my course among all leisure and hospitality courses because all of them are interesting and they offer not only knowledge but also they teach many abilities. I am very pleased because I have met a lot of interesting people and I have learned how to be creative.
However studying aboard has also negative aspects – for example being homesick. My mum is not waiting for me with dinner after my lessons any more, because she is thousands of kilometres away. Despite that now I know how to be independent and responsible. It is also good mobilization to meet new people. Of course like everywhere we have to study here but we have a lot of time for entertainment and sport. In the University for example, there is the Students Union where we can go to meet with friends and dance.
If you think that it is something for you - do not miss this chance. I am pleased that I did not miss it.
